Round 1 (morning | 11:35 a.m.)
-
Can nature teach us anything about the spiritual life? This workshop incorporates Scripture, the Catechism, and ideas of great Catholic thinkers from Augustine and Aquinas to Chesterton and modern popes, pondering what we can learn about human dignity and the virtuous life from contemplation of the created world.
-
Most Catholics want to share their story, but get stuck, ramble, or don’t know where to begin. In this fast, fun, interactive workshop, you’ll learn a simple way to shape your testimony into a clear, impactful, and Christ-centered story. You’ll discover what moments matter most, how to speak with confidence, and how your story can open hearts. You’ll leave with a polished personal testimony and the boldness to share it anytime God calls.
-
Learn how to move from an idea to action and make real steps forward in your faith. This breakout session aims to help you add order to the chaos of life with grounded, easy-to-follow steps to walk with Jesus, giving your spiritual life structure and helping you grow in holiness. Move forward, not backward, with the ancient traditions of the church presented in a practical, real-world way. Confused? Don’t worry, the Church has a plan for your next steps.
-
When a friend tells me that they’re “gay” or I start to experience same-sex attraction myself, where do I turn? What do I do? Come and learn what the church believes about human sexuality when it comes to these attractions and how we are called to accompany those who experience them in pursuing the truth with love as Jesus does.
-
En este taller vamos a explorar como podemos ver con nuestros corazones para respetar la dignidad de cada persona. Queremos ver como Dios nos ve, reconociendo que todos somos creados a su imagen y semejanza.
-
When God created us, He placed His own heart within ours—empowering us to fully live out who we are meant to be, as St. Irenaeus beautifully reminds us. However, we are often influenced to look and act in different ways. Join us for this women’s workshop, where we will discuss what it means to be authentically who we are and who God calls us to be.
-
David got one of the coolest titles in the Bible, yet we know he was a flawed man who often made huge mistakes. What gives? We will walk through key moments in David’s life to see how he continued to seek after God despite his failings. We will be encouraged by David’s story and walk through the key traits of being a man after God’s own heart.
-
-
In his letter to the Romans, St. Paul urges his readers “be transformed by the renewal of your minds” (Rom 12:2). Elsewhere, Paul exhorts the Philippians to “have the same mind as Christ Jesus” (Phil 2:5). Jesus Christ’s own human mind was formed by deep knowledge of and familiarity with sacred Scripture. This talk will explore the daily habit of reading sacred Scripture to learn Christ crucified, thus allowing God to renew our minds and transform us, as St. Paul counsels.
